BulkSnap: Product Photos, by Artech Bristol Ltd. Last updated 10 October 2026.

Your photos never leave your phone. That is not a policy choice we could quietly reverse — it is how the app is built. The AI that removes backgrounds runs on the device itself. There is no server to upload to, and the app contains no code that sends an image anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit or have any access to your photos, your edits, your account, your location, your contacts, or anything you do in the app. There is no analytics package, no advertising identifier, and no crash reporter that carries image data.

What stays on your device

All of it lives in the app's own storage on your phone, and deleting the app deletes it.

Photos permission

The app asks to add photos to your camera roll, so that finished pictures can be saved there. That permission does not let it read what is already in your library. If you also grant access to your existing photos, that is used only to show them to you, on your phone, so you can pick which to work on — the app does not scan, catalogue, copy or transmit them, and nobody at Artech can see them.

Camera permission

If you use Take photos, the app asks to use the camera, at that moment and not before. The pictures you take are kept on your phone until you add them to your batch, and are never sent anywhere. Nothing is recorded when you are not taking a photo.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card details. Apple tells us how many subscriptions there are and what we are owed; it does not tell us who you are.

Support

If you use Report a problem, the app writes you an email containing the app version, your device model and your settings, so a fault can be found. You can read and edit it before sending, and nothing is sent unless you press send. No photo is attached unless you attach one yourself.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to request, correct or delete — but if you would like that confirmed in writing, ask.
